Worthington Christian rolls past Northland
Worthington Christian shook off a slow first 30 minutes Saturday to roll past Northland 9-1 at home. Ian Rapp recorded a hat trick, Blake Miller added a brace and Hudson Cauthers scored his first career goal. Overall, six different Warriors found the back of the net.
Dublin Jerome boys open 2-0
Dublin Jerome picked up road wins against Dunbar and Henry Clay. Chase Fritter headlined with five goals, including four on Saturday vs Henry Clay. Pedro Maamud had a pair of braces to start the year with four goals, respectively.
Worthington Christian girls draw
On Saturday night, the Lady Warriors hosted Jonathan Alder and played to a 1-1 draw. Abby Davis scored late to force the draw and earn Worthington Christian a point against Alder.
Kilbourne boys draw with Berlin
Worthington Kilbourne boys started the season on Friday against Olentangy Berlin, ending up in a 1-1 draw. Steven Tekock scored for the Wolves in the first half, but Berlin eventually broke through with around 12 minutes left to force a draw.
Thomas Worthington soccer teams win
Thomas Worthington’s soccer programs picked up victories in their season openers on Friday. The boys shutout Watkins Memorial 4-0 at home, girls beat Canal Winchester 4-3 on the road.
Jerome and Kilbourne girls, Upper Arlington boys, Grandview teams open season in Week 2
Upper Arlington boys soccer opens the week Tuesday on the road against Olentangy Berlin.
Grandview boys and girls soccer will open the year in league play Wednesday against Bishop Ready. The boys will host Ready, while the girls travel to Columbus to face the Silver Knights.
Worthington Kilbourne girls will begin their 2026 season Thursday at home against Columbus Academy, the Division IV state runner-up from 2025.
Dublin Jerome girls travel to Delaware Thursday to face the Pacers.
Defending state champion Upper Arlington girls will have to wait until Monday, 24 August, when they travel to New Albany to begin their season.
