Golden Bears offered scholarships after Upper Arlington showcase

Upper Arlington — After their annual coaches showcase on Tuesday, several Upper Arlington football players picked up new scholarship offers.

Freshman offensive lineman Grant Dorsey, who stands at 6-foot-7 and weighs 305 pounds, received an offer from the in-state Ohio Bobcats, marking his first Division I and first publicly known college offer.

Junior offensive lineman Max Uritus received a pair of Division II scholarship offers Tuesday from Thomas More University and the University of Mary.

Uritus previously visited Buffalo for a game day visit in September before making spring visits to Youngstown State, Miami (Ohio), and Grand Valley State.

Rounding out Tuesday’s offers is sophomore Nolan Miller, a rising prospect who already held four Division I offers entering the showcase.

The safety/outside linebacker added UConn to his growing offer list, which also includes Liberty, Ohio, Miami (Ohio), and Toledo. During his sophomore year, Miller has taken game day or spring visits to Wisconsin, Louisville, Ohio State, Western Michigan, and Purdue.

Last season, Miller recorded 82 tackles, four forced fumbles, and four interceptions. He was named 2nd team all-OCC and an all-district honorable mention.
