Grandview Heights — This week, Grandview Heights athletes signed national letters of intent during the spring signing period to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level. Here is a look at the school’s 2026 fall and spring college signees, where they are headed and a little more about each athlete.
Maci Tew – University of Pittsburgh, Soccer
Part of a seven-member signing class, Tew heads to the ACC to compete with Pitt next fall. She departs as Grandview’s all-time points leader in girls soccer history, totaling more than 168 points across three seasons.
The dynamic midfielder brings much-needed offensive firepower to the Panthers, who scored less than one goal per game in 2025 and have not made the NCAA Tournament since 2023.
Tatum Lusher – Malone University, Basketball
Another female legend to come through Grandview, Lusher leaves the Lady Bobcats as the program’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder. During her career, she earned multiple all-state selections and helped cement herself as arguably the top player in program history.
Lusher will continue her career with the Malone Pioneers, joining a program coming off its third NCAA Division II Tournament appearance in school history. Last season, the Pioneers ranked in the top third of D-II in scoring and rebounding.
Cooper Bauer – Princeton University, Football

A defensive menace for the Bobcats, Bauer is headed to the Ivy League after a senior season that saw him record 92 total tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, one interception, six forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
The senior was named a first-team all-state selection and will continue his career at Princeton. He joins a Tigers program coming off a 3-7 season in which five losses came by 10 points or less. Princeton’s defense ranked in the middle of the FCS pack in total defense, finishing 64th out of 126 teams.
Henry Ohlinger – Indiana University, Football
A nationally touted prospect, Ohlinger broke over 1,000 rushing yards in both his sophomore and junior seasons at running back. Defensively, he recorded 17 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and two interceptions during his junior season.
The four-star prospect graduated early and headed to Bloomington as a member of the national champion Indiana Hoosiers. He is listed as a linebacker for the Hoosiers.
Ben Matney – Ohio Northern University, Wrestling
A captain for the wrestling program, Matney went 38-8 overall his senior year with an appearance in the district tournament.
Matney will continue his wrestling career at Division III Ohio Northern University, joining a Polar Bears program that finished 26th in the nation this season.
Kyra Hill – Haverford College, Track and Field
The senior has had a strong senior year, setting personal records in the 200 meters and indoor 60-meter events. Hill also competes in the 100 meters as well as the 4×100, 4×200, and 4×400 relay races.
Hill heads to Haverford College, where she will immediately be an impact athlete for the Fords. Her times currently rank her at the top or top two in the 60-meter, 100-meter, and 200-meter events when compared with current Haverford athletes.
